About the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center
The Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center is located in downtown San Antonio along the banks of the San Antonio RiverWalk.
The HBGCC, built as part of the 1968 HemisFair and expanded three times since is now a beautifully decorated and spacious facility with 1.3 million square feet. The facility features include:67 meeting rooms4 exhibit halls with over 440,000 square feet of contiguous exhibit space3 elegant ballrooms including Ballroom C with approximately 40,000 sq. ft. of full-service UPS Business Center36 loading docks, including 24 covered docks wifi connectivity impressed air, electricity, water, and drainage available in the exhibit halls. The HBGCC complex also features the Lila Cockrell Theatre, a 2,307-seat Performing Arts Theatre. The Alamodome and more than 13,000 of the City’s downtown hotel rooms (over 42,000 citywide) are within minutes and walking distance as well as restaurants and entertainment.

TRAVELING FROM THE AIRPORT
Take Highway 281 South to the East Cesar E. Chavez Boulevard exit. Exit on East Cesar E. Chavez Boulevard and turn right on East Cesar E. Chavez Boulevard to Alamo Street. Turn right on Alamo to Market Street. At Market Street turn right and proceed in front of the Convention Center. Just before the stoplight at Bowie Street, the Convention Center Garage is on the left (past Marriott Riverwalk) and the Grand Hyatt Parking Garage is on the right.
TRAVELING SOUTH FROM DALLAS / AUSTIN
Travel IH-35 South to San Antonio. IH-35 South intersects with IH-37 South to Corpus Christi. Take IH 37 South to the East Cesar E. Chavez Boulevard exit. Exit on East Cesar E. Chavez Boulevard and turn right on East Cesar E. Chavez Boulevard to Alamo Street. Turn right on Alamo to Market Street. At Market Street turn right and proceed in front of the Convention Center. Just before the stoplight at Bowie Street, the Convention Center Garage is on the left (past Marriott Riverwalk) and the Grand Hyatt Parking Garage is on the right.

Travel IH 10 West to San Antonio. IH 10 West intersects with IH 37 North toward Johnson City. Take IH 37 North to the East Cesar E. Chavez Boulevard exit. Exit on East Cesar E. Chavez Boulevard and turn left on East Cesar E. Chavez Boulevard under the interstate to Alamo Street. Turn right on Alamo to Market Street. At Market Street turn right and proceed in front of the Convention Center. Travel IH 37 North toward San Antonio to the East Cesar E. Chavez Boulevard exit. Exit on East Cesar E. Chavez Boulevard and turn left on East Cesar E. Chavez Boulevard under the interstate to Alamo Street. Turn right on Alamo to Market Street. At Market Street turn right and proceed in front of the Convention Center. TRAVELING EAST FROM EL PASO
Travel IH 10 East toward San Antonio. IH 10 East intersects with IH 35 South toward Laredo. Take IH 35 South to the East Cesar E. Chavez Boulevard exit. Exit on East Cesar E. Chavez Boulevard, keep right for three-quarters of a circle, and proceed under the interstate past six traffic signals to Alamo Street. Turn left on Alamo Street to Market Street. At Market Street turn right and proceed in front of the Convention Center. Just before the stoplight at Bowie Street, the Convention Center Garage is on the left (past Marriott Riverwalk) and the Grand Hyatt Parking Garage is on the right.
