Conference Overview
The 2022 Ohio Stormwater Conference is an annual conference dedicated to advancing the knowledge and understanding of comprehensive stormwater management for those dealing in all aspects of planning, design, implementation, and regulatory compliance. The conference will provide updates on environmental issues, new technologies, regulatory information, and pollution prevention. The 2022 Ohio Stormwater Conference is a great opportunity to strengthen your skills and knowledge in an intensive workshop setting with other colleagues. The 2022 Conference is the premier event for addressing municipal, industrial, and construction stormwater issues and has become one of the largest regional stormwater events in the United States. The Tinker’s Creek Watershed Partners and the Ohio Stormwater Association pride themselves on offering timely information on critical stormwater issues from the most influential and experienced leaders in the field.

Who Should Attend?
The conference has been developed by a planning committee comprised of professionals who deal with stormwater issues on a daily basis including engineers, consultants, watershed organizations, governmental organizations, and academic staff. The conference is multi-disciplinary and is designed for all who have a direct stake in stormwater management, non-point source pollution, or the modeling of urban water systems. Attendees include civil and environmental engineers; landscape engineers and architects; aquatic biologists, ecologists, scientists; managers, urban geographers, and policymakers; professionals from municipal and government engineering; public works personnel; consultants; and instructors and researchers at universities and research institutes.
The 2022 Ohio Stormwater Conference will be an in-person event. We will continue to watch COVID-19 closely and if it dictates, we will change from an all in-person event to a hybrid (in-person and virtual). Â As planning continues, we will monitor activities closely and if changes need to be made to this plan, we will post online and let those interested know via email.Â

The conference has grown from 399 attendees to over 1,000 in the past 14 years. This year’s conference is being held May 11-13, 2022 at the Kalahari Resort and Conference Center located in Sandusky, Ohio. The conference will provide updates on environmental issues, new technologies, regulatory information, and pollution prevention. The 2022 Ohio Stormwater Conference is a great opportunity to strengthen your skills and knowledge in an intensive workshop setting with other colleagues.
The Tinker’s Creek Watershed Partners and the Ohio Stormwater Association, are looking forward to another great program with experts in the stormwater field sharing their knowledge, and experience. If you attend only one stormwater conference in 2022, this is the one! The conference is an excellent opportunity to network with other professionals and to talk directly with vendors who will be exhibiting the latest technology. All of this is designed to benefit those of us working to comply with municipal, industrial, and construction NPDES stormwater permits by helping us keep up with the latest stormwater management information.
